Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I retired December 1999, after a long career in Accounting and Finance, to pursue my life long interest in the arts by getting more involved with photography. Although I have not attended any course of study in photography, I have taken classes in painting and the arts during my college years.
